I cooked my first glaze for a ham at the Xmas just past.
The recipe called for some cloves, a jar of apricot jam, i/4 cup of whiskey and a table spoon of wholegrain mustard.
Prior to glazing the ham score it in diagonals and in each diagonal put in a glove
Mix the ingredients together and then baste the ham every 10 minutes cooking for a total of 45 minutes.
