- 18 peeled & chopped feijoa’s
- 3 peeled & chopped apples
- 3 peeled & chopped onions
- 1 dsp crushed ginger
- 1 dsp whole cloves
- 550gms white or brown sugar
- 400ml vinegar brown or white
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper or dab of crushed chilli
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup sultanas or raisins
Method
Boil all together for ½ to 1 hour until thick – then bottle.
